Tiguidanke Camara, Chairman & CEO of Tigui Mining Group to participate in Mining Indaba, 2015

 

New York, USA February 5th. Tigui Mining Group (TMG), a junior mining exploration company located in Guinea, West Africa, will participate in Mining Indaba, to take place in Cape Town, South Africa from February 9th to 12nd.

 

Mining Indaba is the world’s largest mining investment conference, the world’s third largest mining conference, and Africa’s largest mining event. With more than 7,000 attendees, the annual conference gathers all the key players from African mining related industries.

 

Ms. Tiguidanke Camara will be present and available for meeting with potential investors. She is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Tigui Mining Group (TMG), and its subsidiary Camara Diamond & Gold Trading Network (CDGTN). Her objective is to create a conglomerate of natural resource and innovative technology companies as she firmly believes in the growth of the mineral resources industry as a main driver of a country's development. She is one of the youngest female mining owners.

Tiguidanke Camara Chairman and CEO of Tigui Mining Group participated and spoke at the first US Africa Summit in Washington DC.

August 4th-8th 2014, Washington DC-- African Heads of State made the trip to Washington, DC to discuss various issues with President Obama, members of Congress and over 100 American leaders who were invited to discuss investment opportunities with their African counterparts.

 

On August 6th, Tiguidanke Camara, CEO and Chairman of Tigui Mining Group, had the privilege to participate in the symposium for African First Ladies, hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama and former First Lady Laura Bush. The event brought together African first Ladies, NGOs and private sector representatives. Ms. Camara used this opportunity to discuss the important role women play in the advancement of the African economy and society in general. Additionally, she discussed the role women play in the extractive industries, a sector where they are traditionally underrepresented. Ms. Camara, the youngest woman mine owner in West Africa, and the co-founder of Women In Mining Guinea, works closely with women of Guinean communities to create further economic opportunities and empowerment.

 

On August 7th, Ms. Tiguidanke Camara was also honored to be part of a discussion about Rebranding Africa with musician Nigerian D’Banj, CEO of Africa.com, Teresa Clarke, Congolese artist Fally Ipupa, and Arunna Oteh, Director General of Securities and Exchange Commission, Nigeria, at the first annual conference, “New Partnership models for growth”, organized by Akon Lighting Africa (http://www.akonlightingafrica.com) and Africa 2.0 (www.africa2point0.org).

 

In celebration of the US Africa Leaders Summit, Tigui Mining Group sponsored the Power Brokers reception held on August 5th.
